Your impact is epic.
The work you do matters to students. There's no spreadsheet, meeting invite, Jira ticket, or email that doesn’t impact their lives. Ensuring student success is no easy mission. But it’s you all—our people—who make everyday moments monumental. Join us at Pencils Down and remember this: Your daily grind leads to epic outcomes.

Pencils Down made me even more excited about joining the organization. I was only with the company for 30 days when I attended PD. So, seeing and learning all that College Board offers to employees and the people we serve was informative and refreshing.

Pencils Down in Chicago ranks among my top three College Board experiences! The reception at the Field Museum was absolutely incredible. I got the opportunity to connect IRL with colleagues I work with daily and meet new folks, too.
Samantha
I couldn't ask for a better way to connect with my colleagues. Seeing friendly faces I haven't seen in years and catching up with teammates while simultaneously enjoying interactive activities—PD truly is an enriching experience.

Pencils Down was a fun space to meet colleagues outside my immediate team and learn about the different programs at CB that I'm not directly involved in!
Trent
Pencils Down provided a welcome opportunity to connect in person with fellow members of RESILIENCE and other affinity groups. I was especially grateful to hear the land acknowledgment.
Kiki
I got to say 'Hi' to fellow WIN members, Toastmaster people, and colleagues I copyedit for—different from JIRA uploads and emails. At breakfast, I met someone from Reston. Later, I joined her for dinner at Chinatown and even more Toastmaster people were there.

It was an unforgettable experience and it exceeded all my expectations. As a first-time attendee at Pencils Down, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere, enriching in-person connections, and dynamic activities.
